The following forms are required to be filled out before your pet is spayed/neutered. Of course, we have these forms available at the clinic, but you can also download and fill them out at home.

All pets will receive a small green tattoo.

An Elizabethan collar will be needed after surgery if your pet licks at the incision.


We recommend spaying/neutering your puppy/kitten at 4 months of age, after they have completed their series of vaccinations.

Rabies vaccinations are required by NC law.

Microchipping includes enrollment and lifetime registration.

All patients will receive a small permanent green ink tattoo indicating they have been spayed or neutered.

Spay Today is not a full-service veterinary hospital. Pets will be seen here only on the day of their surgery. Booster vaccines, heartworm prevention/treatment, flea preventions and all future medical care must be provided by a full-service veterinary hospital.
