Donations

Spay Today relies on the generosity of donors to fulfill its mission. We thank you for helping animals by supporting our work. Four options are available for giving. You can make a donation through Paypal or by mail, specifying which fund you prefer. If no selection is made the contribution will be used as needed.

The Spay Fund

Used to subsidize costs for those who cannot afford to pay for surgeries. We get many requests for assistance from people who love their pets and want to avoid unwanted litters, but who are not able to pay the fees.

The Truden Fund

Truden

Named after a young dog rescued from the shelter, who later died due to complications of distemper. Many litters of puppies and kittens are turned in to the Pitt County Animal Shelter each year. This fund will pay to alter the mother of these litters as well as any other dogs/cats in their household. The Truden fund also pays for vaccines.

The General Fund

Used as needed. Money in this fund may be moved into one of the other funds or may, for example, be used to buy a needed piece of equipment.

The Capital Campaign

Raising money to finance an expansion of our building. Currently we work in a very small space. To continue our outreach and increase our surgical capabilities we need to add more rooms.

Mission Fish

Mission Fish, in cooperation with the Ebay Giving Works program, helps non-profit organizations set up accounts that Ebay sellers can donate 10-100% of their profit from items they sell, to the organization of their choice. David Edwards, sells his New Orleans style paintings on Ebay, and donates 30% of his profit to Spay Today.
