Friends of Spay Today

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is a non-profit, no-kill organization. They focus on educating the public about being responsible pet owners and housing animals until they find permanent homes.
Saving Graces 4 Felines is a state approved “No-Kill” shelter. Since its opening in 2002, more than 2,000 cats have been placed in homes. Along with finding homes for cats, Saving Graces also assisted in opening Spay Today as a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats and dogs intended for low-income families. A long term goal includes trapping, neutering and returning feral cats back into their colonies.
The Pitt County Animal Shelter keeps their petfinder page updated with new dogs and cats every day.
Friends of the Pitt County Animal Shelter Pitt Friends is a non-profit group that helps at the Pitt County animal shelter and also pulls many animals out of the shelter into foster homes, until permanent homes can be found.

Tri-County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is a county-operated, open-admission shelter serving the Northeastern North Carolina Counties of Chowan, Perquimans and Gates. The shelter is located approximately 15 miles North of Edenton.

The Carteret County Humane Society and Animal Shelter (CCHS) is a non-profit organization located in Newport, North Carolina that accepts all stray and owner surrendered animals for Carteret County residents. CCHS is a low-kill organization that takes in over 3,200 animals a year and provides food, love, attention, exercise, medical care and behavior support while trying to find them loving responsible forever homes.
